2. Information We May Process

Zhixiaoji currently focuses on local printing workflows. To provide device connection, editing, and printing features, the app may process the following information on your device.

2.1 Device and Connection Information

When you connect a printer, Zhixiaoji may process nearby Bluetooth device names, device identifiers, connection status, service characteristics, paper or consumable status, printer responses, connection errors, and print job status.

This information is used to discover devices, establish connections, select available channels, send print data, determine print status, and diagnose connection problems.

2.2 Content You Create or Import

You may create, import, or edit text, images, documents, web content, templates, labels, drafts, and print preview content in Zhixiaoji.

This content is usually processed locally on your device for editing, previewing, generating print data, and printing again. You are responsible for confirming the legality and backup needs of your content.

2.3 Local Drafts, History, and Cache

To improve user experience, Zhixiaoji may store drafts, templates, print history, recently used devices, app preferences, preview cache, image processing cache, or temporary files locally on your device.

Deleting the app, clearing app data, changing devices, or system abnormalities may cause this local data to be lost.

2.4 Logs and Error Information

To locate problems and improve stability, Zhixiaoji may record device connection errors, print failure reasons, app crashes, or abnormal states locally. If a future version provides a user feedback feature, you may choose to include relevant logs when submitting feedback.

3. System Permissions

Zhixiaoji requests system permissions only when they are needed for specific features. Permission names may vary by operating system version. The system prompt on your device prevails.

You can manage these permissions in system settings. Disabling a permission may make related features unavailable, but it does not affect features that do not depend on that permission.

4. How We Use Information

We process relevant information mainly to:

1. Discover, connect to, and manage printing devices.
2. Edit, preview, convert, and send printable content.
3. Save local drafts, templates, history records, and preferences.
4. Identify connection exceptions, print failures, or compatibility problems.
5. Improve app stability, compatibility, and user experience.
6. Comply with legal requirements or protect the lawful rights and interests of users, developers, and third parties.

5. Storage

Zhixiaoji’s drafts, history, templates, cache, and preference information are usually stored locally on your device. We recommend that you back up important content yourself.

If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, online templates, remote backup, user feedback, or other online services, we will update this Privacy Policy before those features are launched and obtain your authorization or consent where necessary.

6. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not actively sell your personal information.

We may process or disclose necessary information in the following situations:

8. Web Printing and Cookies

When you use web printing or built-in web browsing capabilities, target webpages may use Cookies, LocalStorage, scripts, advertisements, or other technologies.

The processing of information by third-party webpages is the responsibility of the corresponding webpage or service provider. You should decide whether to access, log in, or submit information yourself. Zhixiaoji does not recommend entering sensitive information on untrusted webpages.

1. Deleting drafts, history, templates, or cache in the app, subject to the features provided by the current version.
2. Disabling Bluetooth, camera, photos, file, or location-related permissions in system settings.
3. Deleting locally stored data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

If future versions provide accounts, cloud sync, or online services, we will provide access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, account deletion, or related contact methods as required by applicable laws and regulations.

If you are a minor, you should use Zhixiaoji with the consent and guidance of your guardian. Guardians should help minors understand this Privacy Policy and guide them in using printing, importing, and web access features properly.

We will take reasonable technical and management measures to protect information security, such as limiting unnecessary data processing, prioritizing local processing, controlling permission requests, and reducing unnecessary retention.

However, the internet environment, terminal systems, and Bluetooth connections are not absolutely secure. You should properly protect your device, system permissions, files, and print content, and avoid processing sensitive content in untrusted environments.

12. Cross-Border Processing

Zhixiaoji currently processes printing-related information mainly on your device. If future online services, cloud sync, technical support, or other features involve cross-border processing, we will comply with applicable notice, authorization, and security requirements.

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy based on product features, laws, regulations, or business changes. The updated policy will be displayed through the app, website, or other reasonable methods.
